HOW INVISALIGN FIRST WORKS

Invisalign First uses a series of clear aligners to help with any early orthodontic problems your child may be facing. This includes expanding your child’s palate, called dental arch expansion, which helps make room for your child’s permanent teeth to come in when they are ready.

Your child’s journey toward a beautiful new smile begins with a comprehensive consultation. This consultation, with Dr. Holbert and our team assesses your child’s eligibility for Invisalign First. Once your child is approved for treatment, the following steps will begin:

  • Capture Images: Our team will capture images, which includes X-rays and digital impressions, of your child’s teeth and mouth.

  • Aligners Are Created: This image data is then transmitted to an Align lab, where sets of Invisalign First aligners, also called trays, are crafted specially for your child’s treatment.

  • Aligner Fitting: Once our team has received the customized aligners, your child is ready for a fitting! After Dr. Holbert ensures that the aligners fit, your child will officially begin treatment, where the aligners will get to work gradually shifting your child’s teeth into place.
