Once you complete your complementary consultation, we will schedule your first orthodontic appointment! At your first appointment, Dr. Hobert will start your treatment by setting your new orthodontic appliance. When you’re ready to set your first visit to our Richmond office, contact us and our welcoming team will be happy to help.

We understand that sometimes life happens and you need to reschedule an appointment! If you need to reschedule an orthodontic appointment, please let our team know as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to reschedule for another day that works for you and our team.

Even during orthodontic treatment, you will need to continue going to your family dentist every four to six months for your routine teeth cleaning and dental checkups. If you find that you need extra dental care, Dr. Holbert is happy to work with your dentist to make sure your dental health needs are taken care of!

When you invest in orthodontic care at Holbert Family Orthodontics, your treatment includes all office visits and appointments, procedures performed by Dr. Holbert and all the necessary orthodontic appliances. We also provide everything you need for retention after treatment, including your first set of retainers and 18 months of monitored retention care.

To ensure the best smile results, your orthodontic appointments will need to take place every six to ten weeks.

Your first orthodontic appointment typically lasts about an hour. Once you walk into our office in Richmond, VA, you’ll immediately be welcomed by our friendly team and checked in. Next, Dr. Holbert will officially start your orthodontic treatment and set your appliances in place. Our incredible orthodontic team will ensure you’re comfortable throughout the entire process.

We are pleased to assist you by managing the submission of insurance claims for the care provided in our office. It is important to note that our primary financial connection is with our patients and their families, rather than their insurance providers. While we can arrange finances based on your estimated insurance benefits, any outstanding insurance claims are ultimately the responsibility of the patient or their family.
