We recommend using clear soap, warm water, and a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently clean your aligners. You can also buy Invisalign® cleaning crystals. Avoid using hot water or anything with dyes that could warp or stain your aligners.

You should rinse your aligners out with water every time before inserting them back into your mouth. We recommend cleaning them with clear soap once a day, preferably before you go to bed.

You should brush your teeth after every meal before putting your aligners back in your mouth.

The short answer is, yes, Inivsalign® for adults takes longer. A teen’s jaw is still growing, which means their teeth can move faster than an adult’s teeth. However, your treatment will be done as fast as possible if you listen to Dr. Holbert’s instructions, wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, and keep up with good oral hygiene practices!
